Eliza has been an attorney since 2011 and she joined Nineyards Law's Employment Law practice group in 2021, as a Senior Associate. Prior to Nineyards Law, Eliza gained over eight years of experience and knowledge at a full-service medium-sized law firm and after that worked at a boutique firm in Amsterdam for almost two years. Eliza advises national and international clients on a wide range of employment law matters. She also advises on the employment law aspects of mergers and acquisitions and transfers of undertakings. Eliza litigates for her clients, when required.
Moreover, Eliza has extensive experience in individual and collective dismissal matters. This applies both to ordinary employment law, as well as to organisations that fall under the scope of the Social Employment Act (WSW).
Eliza successfully completed the PALA and PALA+ Postgraduate Course in Employment Law in 2017 and 2018. Eliza is a member of various associations and clubs, including the Association of Employment Lawyers Netherlands (VAAN) and Association of Employment Lawyers Amsterdam (VAAA).
In addition to her work at Nineyards Law, Eliza is a board member and co-founder of Sint Grigor Narekatsi Foundation in Amsterdam.
Eliza is registered for employment law in the register of legal areas expertise of the Dutch Bar Assocation. She is also registered for the following sub legal areas expertise: collective dismissal and international employment law.
